Why can't people provide a simple API? Screen scraping is both fun and irritating, especially when the HTML is not well-formed. Im hoping to provide an API service from this in the near future.
configarrr
Just needed a small configuration abstraction that I could use on multiple projects. Usually for libraries/projects that require account details. The bulk of it comes from Sinatra and a twitter bot I was writing.
hellanzb
After four months of being "offline" I decided to start with something simple to get back in to Ruby. At the time I was also getting back into Usenet since I was having problems with bittorrent reliability. I used Cucumber on this project simply to be familiar with it, but I wouldn't recommend it on most libraries otherwise.
sappy
While working at Engine Yard we were dealing with SiteUptime a lot as we used it as an external site monitor. We needed to tie this in to our internal data store so I, along with Tim Carey-Smith, started working on sappy to provide a nice Ruby wrapper around the provided API.
stew
Using rabbitmq and amqp at work I really wanted a general DSL to configure a "server" to run. Still prototyping.
Continuous Integration. Thanks Nicolás Sanguinetti for Integrity and Simon Rozet for it's Heroku friend.
